All I know is in AL, it’s been like 20-30 degrees above normal almost all winter. It’s mid-January and we’re facing widespread thunderstorms and potential tornadoes tomorrow (to the point that all sporting events and school activities are canceled). It’s been nuts.

I think it’s dropped below freezing a couple times total . Normally it would be almost every night.

The new update to the Wu nderground app is shit. Back when it was run by weather wonks, it was great. Ever since TWC took it over it’s gone steadily downhill.

They’re calling for some heavy weather this evening, with possible hail and even tornadoes. Of course, it is set to hit at about 6:00 pm, right at the height of rush hour and the time I’ll be driving downtown for an orchestra concert. Hopefully I’ll get in the parking garage before it hits.

I miss wunderground’s iOS lock screen widget so badly. I would pay $5  for a weather app that only had that widget.

It’s been wild going from around 60 yesterday to freezing today.  To top it off I’ve got a 9k run tomorrow, so of course it’s on the only day in a two week span that’s actually cold.
